PHELGE Nepal offers handloom shawls and scarves, fabrics and other fashion wear made of pashmina cashmere, wool and blends of cashmere with silk or wool. Our collection exudes sophisticated fashion elegance and style. For a description of our production process please click here.

While the market may have of late been flooded by fake pashminas, nothing compares to the genuine natural pashmina cashmere (not your regular kind of cashmere). Pashmina cashmere is cuddly soft and fragile, a treasure to own and can last a lifetime if properly cared for.

We offer cashmere, blends and wool collection in plain, twill, zigzag, basket, and other special weaves. You'll love our alluring and delicate ultra light 100% cashmere 100count ring stoles (so fine that every piece can pass through a ring) and our water or summer shawls (90 x 200 cm) or stoles (70 x 200 cm) in 70% pashmina cashmere 60count and 30% silk, in plain or jacquard designs (paisleys, leaves, flowers, hearts, honeycomb, etc. ). Water pashminas flow sensuously like warm water on your shoulders and are stylish and chic, whether at home, at the beach or in a formal function. Each water stole can fit in a small purse or your pocket.

We offer the following sizes (other sizes are also welcome):
  • shawl (90 x 200 cm/36 x 80 in)
  • stole (70 x 195 cm/28 x 78 in)
  • half shawl/large scarf (50 x 178 cm/30 x 70 in)
  • small scarf/muffler (30 x 150 cm/12 x 60 in)
  • fabrics (90 cm/36 in wide)
Our scarves and shawls come in classic plain, twill, herringbone, zigzag, diamond cut, random, and other exquisite weaves. The cashmere-silk blends come in the finest ultralight summer water pashmina, jacquards, embroidered (thread/beads/sequins/ crystals), and hand painted in resin gutta outline and free hand techniques. Care of Pashmina

Once you have invested in a pashmina you would want to take good care of it. With regular proper care, your pashmina will retain its look, feel softer and last for years. The conventional wisdom is that, if necessary, they should be dry-cleaned. Based on our experience, you may lightly hand wash your pashmina in lukewarm to cool water using a good, natural shampoo (low to normal pH), not Woolite. During the dyeing process, all items are kept in water for between 30 to 60 minutes at a temperature just below boiling, and are washed twice more, so do not fear washing cashmere in water. We strongly recommend not to add any chemicals, like bleach. After thorough rinsing, remove the excess water by shaking it inside a zip lock plastic bag, remove and blot on a thick towel then lay out on a flat surface indoor or a shaded area outdoors. When dried, place on a table and press in moderate heat if desired.
